SubStudy

Turn the subtitles of a YouTube video into clean text you can read along with the video and download. Keep your own PDF or Word study notes next to it.

Subtitles written for the video are used when there are any; otherwise YouTube's automatic captions, with the repeated lines removed.

Already have a subtitle file?

How people use it

  1. Get the subtitles of a video you want to learn from.
  2. Download the text and work through it with the AI assistant you already use, for example to make a study guide.
  3. Upload that guide as PDF or Word to the study pack, so the video, the transcript and your notes stay together.

Each study pack has a private page for you and a read-only link you can share. Nothing is listed publicly.
